House Churches

Bridgeway House ChurchesHouse Churches are where biblical community is lived out at Bridgeway. A House Church is simply a group of people that meet in the home throughout the week with the desire to grow spiritually by doing life together. House Churches are a way to live out the teaching and worship we do on Sunday. These groups are part of our community and do not replace our Sunday morning worship gatherings, but rather add another venue for the church to live and workout what it means to be a follower of Jesus.

A House Church typically meets weekly or bi-weekly with the goal being to connect with others at Bridgeway. Our House Churhes are driven by desire to make church more than just a sunday worship experience, but a journey of spiritual growth together. This lives out Jesus command to “make disciples” of each other as we study, connect, pray and serve together. House Churches come in as many different flavors as God has designed. As a sampling, we have a variety of groups that involve families, couples, men or women. Many groups also have a specific cause they are passionate about including adoption, justice, prayer, and serving together to name a few.
