Let’s do small group big and digital! As a church over the next 25 days let’s read through the bible in the book of John. John is 21 chapters so you’ll have a couple free days, but even if you miss a day you can jump right back in (guilt free). This was originally posted as a challenge on social media leading up to Easter, look for the posts on our Facebook, Instagram or Twitter for online interaction.
Let’s learn about Jesus’ love, and then love like Him.

– We were built for community! Why not make it a point to call someone, and catch up? Maybe even try to a video call. It might be easier to simply text or message them, but let’s take the extra step and time, we need it. This is one way we can keep our community strong!

– Be sure to maintain “social distancing” expectations as you tackle today’s challenge. Show love by doing your own “virtual race” for Kids Food Basket. You might have a “dance party marathon” with your kids, run a quick 5K on your treadmill, have a “cleaning dash” around your house, or set up your own “family Olympics.” Just as every great race benefits a great cause, if you are looking for a way to share the love, when your “race” is complete, consider making even a $2 donation to the Kids Food Basket or another cause of your choice.

– Let’s brighten up your neighborhood, grab some chalk and make a doodle on the driveway/sidewalk. Maybe encourage your neighbors to make their own sidewalk art, then walk the neighborhood (maintaining social distancing). Post your picture on the FB, Instagram or Twitter page!

– Now’s the time to write a great review! People tend to take to Social Media when they are upset with someone. Let’s change that! Jump on Yelp, Trip Advisor, Google, or email an establishment directly, and write a positive review! A little kindness goes a long way. Maybe take it to the next level and purchase from a local organization to support them in this time.
