LIFE: How early do you start decorating for Christmas?
ENGAGE THE MESSAGE:
- Read Matthew 25:14-30.
- Which of the servants would you most likely be in this parable – the ones who take the risk for the reward or the one who freezes out of fear?
- What response do you most often have during a “fearful” moment: Fight, Flight, Freeze, or Fawn?
- What does it mean to have “faith in your fear”?
- How can we create more faith in Jesus over faith in fear?
- Is there someone you know who consistently displays faith in Jesus over faith in fear? Could you ask that person to be a mentor to you?
- Read 2 Timothy 1:7.
- How does reading God’s Word regularly and praying help us to have victory over the fear of failure?
- Name one thing in which your fear of failure is stronger than the desire to succeed and commit to praying about it this week.
MAKE DISCIPLES: Would you be willing to offer yourself as a mentor to someone who is struggling with the fear of failure?
