LIFE: What is your favorite Christmas tradition? What was your favorite Christmas tradition as a kid?
ENGAGE THE MESSAGE:
- Read Genesis 40, 41:28-32, 39-40, 56-57.
- How does God help Joseph in his dark moments? How has God been with you in dark moments?
- What do you do when God says “not yet” to your question? How do you endure?
- Have you been so focused on getting out of your tough circumstances that you’ve missed what God was doing in the midst of it? Share a story.
- How is God working out His purpose through Joseph amidst his troubles?
- How can we keep God’s big plan in the middle of our tough times?
- What does Joseph do in this story that we likewise can do?
- What’s easy is not always best. How have you seen that true? Is there an area in your life that you need to choose the hard way instead of the easy way?
