LIFE: Who is your favorite neighbor character?
ENGAGE THE MESSAGE:
- Read Mark 12:28-34 and John 13:33-34.
- How might we love people like we see in shows or movies?
- How does Jesus love? How is that different from how the world loves?
- What difference does it make that Jesus says we ”must” love our neighbor?
- Have your neighbors ever done anything odd? Does that make you steer clear of them?
- Have family members or coworkers done something you don’t agree with?
- What does it look like to love people who act differently than you?
- What does it mean “if you love God then you’ll love your neighbor”?
MAKE DISCIPLES: How can you point people to Jesus this week by the way you love?
