LIFE: What did you do as a kid during the very hot summer days?
ENGAGE THE MESSAGE:
- Read Psalm 63.
- What are the benefits of living “one day at a time”? What makes it difficult to live that way?
- David was literally in the desert when he wrote Psalm 63. What metaphors do you read in this psalm? How is David striving to live one day at a time?
- In what ways have you experienced your own heart longing for something greater than yourself?
- What spiritual markers have you had that remind you of who God is?
- Are you well rested? What are the barriers to being well rested nightly?
- What could you do as part of your night time routine to recenter your mind on Christ as you fall asleep?
MAKE DISCIPLES: How can you use your days to impact those around you for God’s Kingdom?
