LIFE: What role has the Bible played in your life?
ENGAGE THE MESSAGE:
- Read 1 Thessalonians 2:13.
- Has God’s Word impacted your decision making? How so?
- Who/what, in culture, have you allowed to speak too much into your own life?
- Why can it be challenging to give God’s Word ultimate authority in our lives over culture?
- What area/s of your life have you allowed God to have authority in your life? What area/s have you not allowed God to have complete authority?
- How have you allowed the Word of God to be at work in you?What’s one example of how God has been working in you?
- How often do you listen and seek what the Holy Spirit is speaking to you? What is something the Holy Spirit has been poking you to start doing, stop doing, and continue to do?
- If you believe the Bible is the word of God and has the authority of God…what is a part of the Bible you have a hard time accepting and believing?
- Does having doubts or questions mean you don’t believe?
