- Read 1 Samuel 16:7, Galatians 1:6-7, 10.
- When is a time when you did something to look good or cool in front of others?
- Share a time when you managed your image for others.
- How does image management threaten your freedom?
- What is the difference between caring about something and being controlled by it?
- Have you been someone different in different places? Why is that?
- Whose counsel do you seek first in tough circumstances? When do you go to God with it?
- Whose approval is important in your life now?
MAKE DISCIPLES: Who can you invite into life to partner with and identify where people’s approval is being placed above God’s? How can you speak truth in love with others?
