LIFE: How does society overlook teenagers? How is society affected by teenagers?
ENGAGE THE MESSAGE:
- Read Mark 10:46-52.
- What did Jesus do in these verses that is compelling to you?
- Have you ever heard someone talk about a personal struggle and didn’t pray or offer a helping hand?
- What are some other examples of missed opportunities when we heard and did not listen to what others have said?
- Do you ever hear the Holy Spirit but don’t listen and act on what you were told?
- When have you asked someone what you can do for them?
- When have you jumped to answer or solve what appears to be a problem, instead of listening and asking what they need?
- What does Proverbs 18:13 say to this?
- A challenge for the week: wait a moment before responding when you are talking with someone.
