“Next Step?”

LIFE:  When was the last time you tried to learn something new? What was the experience like?

ENGAGE THE MESSAGE:

1. Read Matthew 14:25-31 & Matthew 28:18-20.
2. What were the three action verbs in Matthew 28:19?
3. How did Jesus make disciples and teach “everything”?
4. Where are you now in your relationship with Jesus:  a new believer, a long time Christian, or somewhere in between? 
5. What steps have you taken at BridgeWay? Examples:  attended events, baptism, worked on a serving team, joined a small group, participated in Rooted, served in a leadership role.  
6. In what areas have you grown through God’s guidance?
7. How is God calling you forward in your faith journey?  Can you identify a “Next Step” for yourself?
8. What’s stopping you from taking that next step?
9. Consider reaching out to one of the BridgeWay pastors or talk to your small group about a potential “next step” for you.

MAKE DISCIPLES:  How can you step alongside someone else in the Church and encourage their growth in next steps?
