LIFE: What was the best tasting meal you’ve ever had? What place had the best atmosphere?
ENGAGE THE MESSAGE:
- Read Luke 14:15-24.
- What images of heaven do we see on media and shows today?
- Why are the excuses in these verses not very good? How might these translate today?
- What excuses keep me from Jesus?
- According to this story, who will be invited to heaven?
- Read Isaiah 25:6.
- According to the verse in Isaiah, what will heaven’s banquet be like? What will be different in heaven compared to earthly banquets?
- Read Zephaniah 3:17.
- What is described as God’s part in the heavenly banquet?
MAKE DISCIPLES: Who are you bringing to the party? Who are you praying will be going to heaven? Take time to pray over them now.
