LIFE: Can others see Christ alive in me?
ENGAGE THE MESSAGE:
1. Read Colossians 3:1-17.
2. Paul writes in this passage that when we are alive in Christ, we have a new identity (3:12), a new character (3:12–13), and a new controlling Spirit (3:15–17). What words does Paul use to guide us in this transformation?
3. What do you think this means practically in your daily life?
4. What does it mean to you that you are God’s chosen, holy, and dearly loved? How might knowing this change the way you deal with uncertainty, success, or failure?
5. How have you seen God work in your life to refine your character through compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness, and patience? Share a story of when this happened.
6. What is one specific action the Holy Spirit may be prompting you to take as a result of studying this message?
7. Where might God be inviting you to pursue reconciliation, extend forgiveness, or encourage unity and peace this week?
8. Pastor Ron reminds us that the best moments are the ones that shape our life in Christ. The next best are those in which we help shape others’ lives in Christ. Reflect on one of those moments and share it with your group.
