LIFE: Do you have some good memories from years past of Super Bowl Sunday with family or friends?
ENGAGE THE MESSAGE:
- Read Titus 1:9.
- What are some differences between Mormonism and Christianity?
- What has been your experience with Mormons?
- Pastor Ron confirmed that Mormons are not Christians. Why might someone be confused about whether Mormons are Christians or not?
- What do Mormons believe they must do to earn salvation? What does Ephesians 2:8-9 say to that question?
- Can we befriend Mormons? Can we worship with Mormons? Explain why or why not.
- Read Romans 6 verses 4, 11, and 14. What does it mean that Jesus works FOR you (justification), IN you (regeneration), and THROUGH you (sanctification)?
INVEST IN OTHERS: How can we prepare ourselves for conversations with those who believe differently? Why would that matter?
