We are in the Crossroads: A study in world religions series. Throughout this series we will be focused on the “Others” value of groups. Write down at least one name of someone that you will be praying for to know Jesus throughout this series.

“Understanding Islam”
LIFE: How are you doing after the Lions game this week?
ENGAGE THE MESSAGE:
- Read Genesis 16:12 and John 17:3.
- What is your impression of Islam as a growing world religion?
- What do you know about Islam already?
- What do Muslims believe is the way to get into heaven? Is it through grace by faith like Christianity or is it by works?
- What are the differences between the founder of Islam and the founder of Christianity?
- What are the presuppositions (non- negotiables, “must haves”) of following Jesus?
INVEST IN OTHERS: You may not know any Muslims personally, but you most likely know at least one person who isn’t a follower of either Christianity or Islam. Pray that God may prepare you to discuss with someone the presuppositions of following Jesus and how that contrasts with Islamic beliefs.
